DESCRIPTION :  The contents of the Derwent Drawing Kit consists of 5 essential drawing accessories; an embossing tool, two rubber shapers, an eraser shield and a French curve.

The embossing tool is double-ended with two different size heads. It is ideal for botanical and animal studies as it can be used to create grass, veins on leaves and whiskers on kittens! Using the tool, just indent the area of the paper that you want to remain white and then colour over the top of the impressed area to reveal the white marks. The embossing tips have a rounded ball end to ensure that the paper is not torn or damaged when the tool is being used to impress the fine detail.

The two rubber shapers, each with a different shaped head; one pointed and one chiselled, are ideal for blending and smudging pastel, charcoal and graphite. They are designed for use in intricate areas of your drawing and are much more accurate than using your fingers!

The embossing tool and rubber shapers feature smart black soft grip barrels which are easier and more comfortable to hold and control particularly when doing fine detailed studies.

The eraser shield has 26 different openings all of different shapes and sizes. It is perfect for erasing intricate areas of detail without smudging. Place the shield over your drawing and erase the target area through the appropriate hole without affecting the rest of your drawing.

The French curve is designed to help you draw graceful curves and ellipses. Use the edge of the French curve as a guide and draw along it for a smooth accurate curve. The different areas of the French curve can be used to create a range of curves and angles
